PRWeek’s Student of the Year contest
PRWeek is hosting their “Student of the Year” contest. Using their PR knowledge, students are to compose a strategic PR plan for the client, Mazda.
The target audience:
- First time drivers/ buyers; 16-24 years of age.
- Motorsports and automotive enthusiasts, “tuner” culture
- Trendsetting, independently-minded “hipsters”who want products that are stylish and fun, but still economical; not gaudy or lux
- Current Mazda fans and owners
The application makes a note to consider social and viral media, grassroots and word-of-mouth engagement, automotive and enthusiast media, Lifestyle and technology media, and automotive business media.
The prize is a coveted paid internship at Hill and Knowlton, a paid trip to the annual PRWeek awards in New York, PLUS a $5,000 award. Wowza!
